These drums are created with segment shell construction using outer bands of hard maple and an inner band of spalted maple for an amazing visual appearance and a more controlled tone. 

14x6 Old Beach Wood Snare Drum. Very loud and punchy. Stave-style construction. Ultra thick shell 1 inch. 45-degree bearing edge with Vintage round over outside. Undersized in diameter for extra sensitivity. Original wormholes are visible throughout the snare body —single-point lugs with minimum contact with the shell. Trick throw-off 2.3 hoops. Heart Pine is one of the heart and soul woods in the Outlaw Drums arsenal. All of our Heart Pine wood drums are made from reclaimed wood from a variety of sources. This monster is 9.5" depth by 14" and lays down a deep and powerful foundation for your band. All black HW featuring tube lugs, 2.3mm triple flanged hoops, and a Dunnett strainer.
