This holds true even for drums in all of our series. Here are a few of the bands that have outlaws in their collection
Neil McCoy, One Republic, Styx, Mandisa, Saliva, Arlo Guthrie, Marty Stewart, Jeremy Camp, Big and Rich, luke Brian, Dwight Yoakam, Toby Mack, Kelsea Ballerini, Shane and Shane, and Casting Crowns
Outlaw Drums uses old time craftsmanship with modern tools to bring ancient wood back to life as stave and segment drums. We specialize in building showcase drums from 200-600 year old reclaimed wood from barns, gymnasiums, historical houses, decommissioned bridges, and fallen trees. Every custom drum is a unique work of art.
One of Outlaw's core concepts is our dedication to repurpose wood from old buildings, houses, floors or anywhere in which wood of the highest quality would otherwise be left to rot away or be destroyed. We strive to bring life back into that wood and it allows us to help limit the cutting down living trees. There is another reason for repurposing this kind of wood. Anytime you can salvage 200-600 year old wood, the better that wood sounds in the finished drum. Older, slow growing wood has a distinct tonal difference than the farmed wood used in a lot of other companies drums. All of these factors allow us to give our customers eco-friendly drums that are both visually and sonically stunning.
Each drummer has their own musical voice, so why wouldn't you want to own your own identity by playing on a unique and handmade instrument?
